From 2006 to 2007, the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan, had an exhibit featuring the works of Aardman Studios. According to an Aardman spokesperson: "The business model of DreamWorks no longer suits Aardman and vice versa. AARDMAN CLASSICS features the complete short films from Aardman Animations, the clever creators of CHICKEN RUN and WALLACE AND GROMIT. Aardman is celebrating its 40th anniversary this Christmas with BBC documentary A Grand Night in on Boxing Day". Aardman Animation has produced a number of animated features, shorts, videos and TV series, as well as adverts.

Key moments on the stamps include memories from A Matter of Loaf and Death, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and A Grand Day Out.
