For the first time, cast, crew, critics and fans join together in the ultimate 'Halloween' retrospective. This was a documentary produced for the series' 25th anniversary and covers the franchise up till Resurrection. Chock full of cool information and rare tidbits, this one is, to my knowledge, really the first out of the gate in terms of a fan-made FULL retrospective on a film.

Editor's Note: This was originally published for FANGORIA on July 25, 2006, and we're proud to share it as part of The Gingold Files . Video evidence, obtained from official surveillance cameras installed by the states themselves, confirms the geotracking evidence. For devoted fans of the Halloween series who couldn't make it to that legendary event, this is definitely the next best thing to actually having been there. In other taped panels, H4 and 5 heroine Ellie Cornell is most likable; cinematographer Dean Cundey is intriguingly technical; and a Michael Myers reunion allows seven of the masked murderer’s alter egos to reveal their favorite kill scenes and recount the various injuries they suffered. The camerawork here is on the amateurish side, but the discussions all hold the interest, particularly cast reunions for the first film (Soles, Cyphers and Brian Andrews, plus executive producer Joseph Wolf) and HII (Pamela Susan Shoop, Tawny Moyer, Cliff Emmich and Gloria Gifford). Interessante Doku mit Interviews der Darsteller und Mitarbeiter hinter der Kamera, am Set und der Leute aus der Maske, zum 25. Hidden in the heart of Russia, there is a Soviet-era city where thousands of people live and work behind barbed-wire fences monitored by armed guards. The impetus is a Halloween convention held in South Pasadena (site of the original filming), from which a considerable amount of footage is drawn.

The most delightful element of this thing, however, is seeing plenty of vintage stills and 'making of' footage from the shoot, which will be of great interest to any fan. A fine documentary about the franchise (the first 8 movies) and interviews with people who work on those movies. It’s the only franchise spanning documentary I’m aware of so it’s nice to have if you have everything else. I was impressed by the collection of interesting documentaries and interviews over the four discs and having a remastered copy to replace my outdated VHS copy is very satisfying. The first quarter century of the Halloween saga, from the 1978 original to 2002's Halloween: Resurrection, is thoroughly tracked in an 83-minute documentary on the subject. Also inevitable, here as well as during the Curse panel, are requests from fans in the audience to recite favorite lines from their respective films; a surprise arrives when Curse actress Janice Knickrehm recites an entire monologue from memory! The documentary proper follows the chronological history of the franchise by way of film clips and interviews with just about anybody who had anything to do with Halloween and its successors, from Carpenter, producer Debra Hill and star Jamie Lee Curtis to a few of the folks behind the unfortunate Halloween: Resurrection, the last release in the series to date. But the first disc isn’t done yet, as a host of additional interview snippets shed more light on assorted side topics. The documentary does get a little bogged down at times in showing clips of the movie, but the interviews are quite wonderful to see. gg/4tptCsJ - which offers a friendly community to chat with as well as the screenplays for Released and Unreleased Halloween movies.

It examines why the films are so popular and revisits many of the original locations used in the films - seeing the effects on the local community. The bonus features contains many panel discussions, so if you love those, you will appreciate the second disc from this set. I have been a fan of Halloween since first seeing it many years ago and being truly scared by what I saw. The titular 84-minute documentary is surrounded by such a surfeit of supplementary material that it almost becomes too much of a good thing, even to a die-hard Halloween fan like myself. However, those more familiar with the Halloween chronicles may find that, regrettably but inevitably, the most interesting material on view accentuates the negative.

Bestselling Author and award-winning Filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza expose widespread, coordinated voter fraud in the 2020 election, sufficient to change the overall outcome. If they haven't already seen 'A Cut Above the Rest', they should either pick up the 25th anniversary two disc DVD release or the more recent Blu- ray to check it out; they won't be disappointed. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Sending the stage appearances off on a high note, Akkad and Yablans appear together, fielding audience ideas for the ninth film, going into detail on the ’78 film’s origins and giving both their fellow Halloween creators and the franchise’s devotees due appreciation.
